New York, NY - April 30, 2024 - The American Theatre Wing has announced the nominations for the 77th Annual Antoinette Perry Tony Awards. The Tony Awards recognize excellence in Broadway theater, and this year's nominations include a diverse range of productions and performers.
Nominations were announced in 26 competitive categories, including Best Musical, Best Play, and Best Actor and Actress in a Musical and Play. Among the notable nominees are Sarah Paulson and Jeremy Strong, who received nods for their performances in "American Buffalo." "The Lightning Thief" and "The Collaboration" are both nominated for Best Musical, while "The Piano Lesson" and "Leopoldstadt" are among the nominees for Best Play.
