Season 2 of House of the Dragon will be eight episodes long

House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, will return for a second season on June 17th. The eight-episode season will air exclusively on Sky Atlantic and NOW.

The first season of House of the Dragon was a critical and commercial success, winning 10 Emmy Awards. The show follows the Targaryen family during the Dance of the Dragons, a civil war that tore the family apart.
